Francis-Stephen-Prize 2009
of
the history and culture of the Habsburg Monarchy in the 18th century


Prerequisites:

  • The prize is awared to Dissertations (post graduated theses) or Habilitations (post doctoral theses) or papers of equivalent importance about the Habsburg Monarchy of the Eighteenth Century.
  • Language can be German, French or English as well as any language spoken in the former Habsburg Monarchy.
  • Applications of representatives of cultural studies and humanities are especially invited.
  • The work must have been approbated between January 1st, 2007 and May 1st, 2009.
The applicant must submit
  1. a hardback copy of his/her work
  2. a ten pages summary in English or German
  3. a CV
Deadline: The applications must be sent no later then May 31st, 2009 (date of postmark) and be addressed to:
